In mid-2023, I achieved a life-long dream of moving to Spain. I still keep a business presence in Northern Virginia and can bill US-based clients through my LLC. Physically, however, I am currently living in an apartment in Madrid where I have a visa that allows me to work outside of Spain.

As a lifelong student, I continue to read books, attend conferences and meetups. At right you can see a pic I snapped at World IA Day with Jared Spool. Left is a picture from the DCUX Conference in 2019. More recently, I was a cohort facilitator for Rosenfeld Media's 2022 Advancing Research.

Even outside of work, I am obsessed with problem-solving. Who needs a mechanic when you have YouTube? I have replaced sinks, dishwashers, tires (on a business trip!), and windshield wiper engines. There is nothing like the feeling of doing something yourself you’d otherwise be shelling lots of $$ out for.

I also enjoy other creative hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, fashion design and painting. Left you can see sunflowers I’ve painted over the years that also inspired my personal branding. Right is a collection of my fashion designs from a show in 2016.
